Ricevo questo avviso antivirus. Poi ricevo anche la segnalazione che è un falso allarme. Pazienza, ancora pochi giorni e l’anno chiude. Già è passata la leggendaria burundanga (vedi post del 7 aprile)…
Il nessaggio di allarme:
“Nei prossimi giorni state attenti: non aprite messaggi con un allegato
“POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK” !
Non importa chi ve lo manda: contiene un VIRUS che apre un’immagine di carta
postale che BRUCIA tutto il DISCO FISSO del vostro computer.
Questo virus è mandato da qualcuno che ha il vostro indirizzo. Perciò mandate
questo comunicato a tutti i vostri contatti: meglio ricevere tante volte il
messaggio, piuttosto che ricevere il virus ed aprirlo.
Se ricevete un messaggio chiamato “POSTCARD”, anche se ve lo manda un amico,
non apritelo. Chiudete subito il vostro computer: è il PEGGIOR VIRUS ANNUNCIATO
ATTRAVERSO CNN !
Microsoft l’ha classificato come il virus più distruttore che sia mai
esistito: è stato scoperto da McAfee, che non ha ancora trovato una soluzione
per questo genere di virus: questo distrugge il Settore Zero del disco fisso,
quello che contiene e conserva le informazioni vitali”.

DO beware of phony “Hallmark” (or other) e-card notices — they may indeed carry a real virus.
